Book: Supporting Students Learning Chinese as a Second Language
Title | Supporting Students Learning Chinese as a Second Language |
---|---|
Authors | |
Issue Date | 25-Aug-2022 |
Abstract | The edited book will focus on policy in educational settings and the links between such educational policies and student needs in Chinese as a second language (CSL) learning. Related themes extend from policy linked to different pedagogical affordances and their effectiveness in supporting students studying the language, strategies to stimulate their learning motivation, advice to CSL curriculum development and the perceptual change of CSL teachers' mindset. Book chapters contributed by the editors of this edited book, as well as other authors, have a broad coverage that fills a gap in the literature at a time of surging interest in Chinese language study for second language learners across the globe. |
