Dr Wang, Man Ping 王文炳
Kelvin obtained his degrees on Bachelor of Nursing Studies (BN), Master of Public Health (MPH), Master of Philosophy (MPhil) and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) from the University of Hong Kong (HKU). He is Fellow of American Academy of Nursing (FAAN), Associate Professor (HKU), Director of Master of Nursing program (HKU), Visiting Assocaite Professor (Kaohsiung Medical University) and Visiting Scientist (Harvard TH Chan School of Public Health), Associate Editor of BMC Public Health and editorial board member of Scientific Reports, Frontiers in Psychology (Health Psychology) and the MHealth, and Council member of Hong Kong Council on Smoking & Health. He has published more than 140 papers (e.g. JAMA Internal Medicine, Lancet Digital Health, Addiction, Tobacco Control, JMIR, etc.). His research focuses on behavioral intervention, addiction, policy evaluation, and health communication. He is particularly interested in complex intervention design, personalised intervention and advanced statistical analysis for trials. He currently supervises 3 post-doctoral fellows and 6 PhD students in the School.
