AbstractCareer-related teacher support plays an important role in youths’ career development. Currently in the Chinese technical education context, inadequate attention has been paid to research on the effect of teacher support on career development. Four main reasons that researchers should emphasize this topic will be presented, and suggestions for promoting career-related teacher support to enhance technical students’ career development will be discussed from both a theoretical and an empirical viewpoint.
