| Abstract | This book provides the first comprehensive survey on the Glossary of Zhen’an Native Chieftain in Guangxi (Ch. Guǎngxī Zhèn’ān Tǔsī Yìyǔ 廣西鎮安土司譯 語), a volume under the Edition D of Huáyí Yìyǔ (Ch. 華夷譯語) complied by the Imperial Court of Qing Dynasty soon after the thirteenth year of Qianlong Era (1748). This volume, along with another two glossaries of the native chieftain in Guangxi, are rare examples of Zhuang character writing complied by an official institution and had no connection with the Zhuang oral literature. |
